The house is in a peaceful location with a huge back garden that’s ideal to relax in and for active kids to run around. A number of shops and restaurants within walking distance which we found very useful. Lille centre is a 15-20 minute drive away with lots of bars and restaurants. We visited the Lille zoo and art gallery, the natural history museum was unfortunately closed for maintenance. The only small issue with the stay was the kitchen which needs an update but otherwise great stay.Publié survérifié We all enjoyed our week’s stay at Luc’s property. The location was chosen to access the train station at Gare Europe in Lille which went directly to Disneyland Paris for my daughter and family. We also visited Centre Parcs in De Haan, Belgium for a day and various beaches on the northern coast, ie Petit Fort Phillippe on our way from/to Calais plus De Haan beach and Bray Dunes - our grandchildren loved all three. We also visited Zwemzone Provinciedomein De Gavers in Harelbeke, Belgium and enjoyed some time at a lake with a man made beach. We particularly found the garden at the property peaceful and relaxing after our return to the property each day. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. It was a perfect size for 4 adults and 2 children. Both inside and out are lovely with a large back garden. Our group of six adults felt completely at home in this beautiful house. It’s thoughtfully furnished and boasts a charming garden, complete with a stunning camellia which was in bloom on the patio during our visit. The property offers secure parking, protected by an electric sliding gate. A major perk is its convenient location—just a short 6-minute drive from the 4 Cantons Metro Station, which offers free parking in a multi-story. Que ce soit la conciergerie, grande maison pleine de charme où les ift 1 & 2, maisons contemporaines, ce lieu sur Sainghin-en-Mélantois est à découvrir absolument pour de vraies vacances dans le nord comme à la maison !!! It was a real home from home,having everything we could wish t use . Since we were back staying in France, from our new home in Australia ,we wanted something comfortable and convenient for visiting family. We also wanted to invite friends for lunch and this was possible due to the lovely gardens and spacious living area. We highly rate this accommodation. Definitely five stars.
