Publié survérifié La Conciergerie was located in the perfect place for our family of 4 visiting the olympic basketball event in Lille. Although we had a short stay at Luc's place, we enjoyed very much the character of the house and were enchanted by the garden which was beautiful, peaceful and private. We were lucky to have had great weather during our visit and so took advantage of the small BBQ one evening. Admittedly, as mentioned in other reviews, the set -up in the kitchen and dining area was not ideal but this did not bother us. We had a fantastic meal at Giallo Italian restaurant in the nearby village which was a short walk away and which we would highly recommend. The atmosphere in Lille as well as the friendliness and quality of the restaurants was wonderful during this busy Olympic time! We noticed a few improvements since our last stay, which is very nice and telling us the host is diligently maintaining the house. The house is great for a family. There is a spacious, well maintained yard. The automatic gate is convenient too. Que ce soit la conciergerie, grande maison pleine de charme où les ift 1 & 2, maisons contemporaines, ce lieu sur Sainghin-en-Mélantois est à découvrir absolument pour de vraies vacances dans le nord comme à la maison !!! Nous y retournerons chaque année .... et pour la 7 ème fois en décembre ! Accueil très sympathique... lieu exceptionnel et proche de toutes commodités ! It was a real home from home,having everything we could wish t use . Since we were back staying in France, from our new home in Australia ,we wanted something comfortable and convenient for visiting family. We also wanted to invite friends for lunch and this was possible due to the lovely gardens and spacious living area. We highly rate this accommodation. Definitely five stars.
